The rear quarter panel was cut so that the new tubular bar can follow the lines of the rear panels.
 

 

 

  
The bar provides all the protection that 4x4s need in all offroad situations.

Note the LED lights on the bar replaced the factory indicators.

 
     
The bar is powder coated for a much better finish.
       
 

Everything still functions as they did before.

Departure angle is definitely improved and there's no plastic shroud to damage.
